Legs, Legs, Legs

When I got today's program I asked Brock if he had just googled "leg workouts" and then print screened and handed it to me. It is a full meal deal in terms of power leg lifts. To prepare I cooked up a solid breakfast to stock pile some energy as I had a bit of a sugar / energy crash during yesterday's slideboard and did not want a repeat performance.

Here was the menu: Full squats up to 90% for 5 sets of 8, full cleans (from the floor vs hanging above the knee), dumbbell lunges, hanstring curls, leg extensions and, for the ladies, calf raises.

Something is up with my cleans...Brock and I spent some time and made a number of adjustments between sets but have yet to crack the case, Check out the video below you will see my feet slowly creeping backwards, also my arms are still breaking very early.

Here is my final set of dumbbell lunges. My body is meant to be perfectly upright similar to the isometric squats. Towards the last set I lose my balance and have to reset. You can hear Brock making comments, adjustments on most of the videos but at the end of some exercises he will just say "k...talk to me, what happened?". This usually means he did not see something that would result in a misstep and wants to hear from me what I think happened. If I don't have a good reason (e.g. my step was too big, weight was too much, etc.) it just means I had a mental lapse / lost focus...which is not good. It is very helpful to be called out on things like that...snaps you back it to make sure you get every rep done and every rep done right.

Use all of the buffalo.
