One of the great benefits of training out here in Calgary is having access to the Canadian Sport Centre. There are CSC's across the country supporting Canadian high performance athletes. In addition to a full range of athlete services they conduct our testing in their High Performance Lab. 

On the menu yesterday: blood test, anthro and, everybody's favourite, the Wingate Test.

Canada Cup #2, Calgary January 5-8

Last season was the race to 40 seconds. Besides being a milestone number it also was the eligibility cut off for competing on the Canada Cup circuit. For Canadian speed skaters left off of the National team (and thus the World Cup circuit) the Canada Cup circuit represents the top domestic competitions.
